Animal testing is unnecessary and, at its core, cruel. Animals are tested on to see what lethal doses of products are, how much of a product is needed to irritate skin or eyes, as well as aggression, deprivation, and a variety of pain experiments.

Not only is animal testing cruel, but it’s often unreliable. Thalidomide, which was a morning sickness drug used in the 1950’s, was found to be harmless in rats but caused birth defects in humans.
